Account and data deletion

You can delete your Elofoot account and the data attached to it at any time, without contacting our support. This page explains how to do it from the app and from the website, what gets erased, and what the law requires us to keep. Deletion applies to your Elosports account: it removes access to every application of the platform (Elofoot, Elodunk, Elof1 and Elopunch).

1. From the app or the website

Deletion is immediate and permanent. No written request is needed.

Android and iOS app:

  • Open the “Account” tab, then “Settings”
  • Scroll to the red box at the bottom of the screen
  • Tap “Delete my account”, then type “supprimer” to confirm

www.elofoot.com:

  • Sign in, then open “Settings” from your dashboard
  • Scroll to the red box at the bottom of the page
  • Click “Delete my account” and confirm

Your session ends as soon as you confirm, and the account becomes inaccessible.

2. In writing, if you can no longer reach the app

If you can no longer sign in, write to [email protected] from the e-mail address linked to the account, stating that this is a deletion request. We verify your identity, carry out the erasure and confirm once it is done. We reply within one month at the latest, as required by article 12 of the GDPR.

3. What is deleted

Erasure is permanent: there is no bin and no recovery window. The following are deleted:

  • Your account, e-mail address, username and password
  • Your linked Google, Apple and Discord accounts
  • All of your predictions and your analysis history
  • Your favourite teams and competitions
  • Your notification tokens and open sessions
  • Your preferences, your consents and your devices' technical identifiers

4. What is kept, and why

Two categories of data outlive the deletion, because the law requires it:

  • Invoices tied to a paid subscription, kept for ten years under accounting and tax obligations (article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code)
  • Technical logs, kept for twelve months at most, then erased automatically

Neither can be used to rebuild a user profile, and neither is ever used for commercial purposes. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

5. Active subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: billing belongs to the store you subscribed through. Cancel it before you delete the account.

  • Subscribed on Android: Google Play › Subscriptions
  • Subscribed on iPhone or iPad: Settings › your name › Subscriptions
  • Subscribed on the website: from “Settings”, billing section

Without that cancellation, the store keeps billing you even though the account no longer exists.
