Over/Under (total goals)
Over/Under is about the total number of goals in the match, compared to a line (most common: 2.5). « Over 2.5 » wins with 3 goals or more; « Under 2.5 » wins with 2 goals or fewer. The .5 line avoids any push on the market.
It's a goals market, independent of the winner. You estimate it from both teams' attacking output and defensive solidity (goals, xG, xGA), plus playing style and the stakes of the match.
Two open, leaky sides lean « over »; a tight game between two solid blocks leans « under ».
Example
A 2-1 (3 goals) settles « Over 2.5 »; a 1-0 (1 goal) settles « Under 2.5 ».
